The BLACK Spot provides a bidirectional transatlantic CII where Diasporans urgently innovate and contribute for a global impact of intentional care that bridges culture gaps, rewrites historical narratives, and circulates the cultural wealth of the African Diaspora.

We provide more than your typical all-inclusive excursion! We value data-driven research, and we consistently listen to and implement feedback.

Through a subscription-based members-only travel program, our revenue model contracts our members living on the continent, to more ethically power localized economies.

We provide them with opportunities to lead as indigenous culture and language experts who facilitate authentic cultural immersion; while supporting our members living outside of the continent of Africa in their home-going repatriation experiences (travel or relocation).

This CII regenerates growth for our collective care, and empowers all of our host countries across the Diaspora.

With intention, we uphold consumer-informed quality control measures and provide a standard of excellence that our members can depend on because everything we do is an experience of co-collaboration for optimal safety and sustainability.

Our members connect and collaborate both virtually and in person. We ‘put you on’ to upcoming joyful and impactful experiences hosted by our cuzzins across the globe.

We know the power of collaboration- so it is our highest aim to host quarterly Cuzzin Connections across the African Diaspora starting 2024!

We strive to ensure all of our Cuzzins across the Diaspora create sustainable and mutually transformative connections with real people, in the places they want to go or return to, doing the things they dream about doing!

An ideal Cuzzin is a cross-industry collaborator who conquers challenges and stretches themself beyond their comfort zone.

Cuzzins embrace change and understand global growth is essential to our vision for the world; and through collective work and responsibility, their contributions foster an impact of cultural transformation for generations.

Cuzzins prioritize collaboration across industries and borders; they lead with purposeful intentionality to share their gifts and skills, no matter how big or small.

Cuzzins recognize the power of mastery through innovation and have the willingness to step outside of their comfort zone and not only think outside of the box, but repurpose it.

OUR Cuzzins are a community of change agents who are less concerned with the social media aesthetic, and more about making a global impact that has a ripple effect for generations. The member requirement of contribution is a major key for the sustainability of our community structure and revenue model, as well as an opportunity for members to honor our pledge, and to have an impact on their host homeland that is priceless.

The term ‘cuzzin’ came from our experiences growing up in Philly and having ‘play cousins’ (someone from your neighborhood who you often played with and your families knew each other probably for generations so you were practically cousins).

We believe that this ‘hood phenomenon’ is not far off from many Black Americans’ experiences of their chattel enslavement in which interbreeding and selling of our relatives was not only probable but commonplace, resulting in many of us sharing blood and lineage, not just experience!
